It should be noted that although Microblading is often considered a tattooing technique, it differs on the processing level.  Also, microblading is not a permanent process and over the course of time, gets metabolized with the body. Also since the pigmentation is done on the surface of the epidermis and the pigments are less concentrated than tattoo inks, the effects normally wear off after 3years and should be done again.

Things to do before getting the process done

There are some pre-treatment rules for everything and they should be maintained to get more effective results. Microblading classes teach many such methods to get desirable results. Electrolysis, waxing, tweezing, retinol products and in taking Vitamin E products must be stopped before one week of the method. Also, facials or sunbathing should be avoided for two weeks. Botox treatments should also be avoided for one month before going through microblading sessions.

Things to do on the day of the session

On the day of the process, an artist with good microblading training advises not to consume alcohol for 2days before the treatment. Also, the client should not engage in exercises on the day of microblading and should stop drinking coffee 2hours prior. Also, staying away from medications like ibuprofen and aspirins 24hrs before the appointment is highly recommended. And once the process is done, Sunscreen is recommended to extend the stability of the pigmentation.

Some post-care methods

Once microblading is performed, it is the duty of the clients to maintain some rules at least for 1week to prolong the effectiveness. Firstly, wetting the eyebrows and applying makeup to them should be stopped to give the skin time to heal. Using cleansers with exfoliants and acids is strictly prohibited. Also, other post-care methods include avoiding exercises and direct sunlight for a week, using clean pillows, avoiding long showers and swimming for 10days and stopping facials, botox, and peels for a month.

So these are some ways how the effects of microblading pigmentations can be prolonged.
